Map "The safe way to school" presented in schools of Sakhalin Oblast
January 19, the Dolinsky District schools held the event "The safe way to school" which aims at improving the culture of the pedestrian children's behavior on the roads.
The most dangerous areas for the first-graders are unregulated pedestrian crossings. At the presentation of the map "The safe way to school", teachers, road safety inspector of the road police of Russia's Internal Affairs Department for the city district "Dolinsky" as well as the employees of the "Sakhalin Energy" helped the children to choose the safest way from home to school and back and to understand the complex driving situations.
The children could draw a path from home to school with the fewest hazardous sites on the developed map-scheme.
In addition, the first-graders were given special inserts with the map for their record books. A big version of the map will be hung out in the school lobby.
