Traffic police detain pedestrian on federally wanted list in Sverdlovsk Oblast

The previous evening, the road inspectors - Police Captain Alexei Poluyakhtov and Senior Lieutenant Boris Istomin - were on duty in the village of Kolchedan of the city district of Kamenka and noticed a young man crossing the roadway at a forbidden place.

When talking to the guards of law, the young man was visibly nervous, answered questions at random, and was constantly confusing his own words. This behavior aroused suspicion with the road police inspectors.

After that, they sent an inquiry to the control department to check whether this citizen had been entered onto the police records. And how big the law enforcement officers' surprise was when they received a reply confirming their assumptions. This young man was not a mere violator of the traffic rules, but he had been on the federally wanted list since 2008. As it appeared, the police colleagues from Orenburg Oblast had been searching for him for stealing cars.

The man was apprehended and taken to Police Department no. 22 of Kamensk-Uralsky to investigate all the circumstances. The case investigation is underway.
